I have a good command of the international standard dances such as the slow waltz and Viennese waltz, the foxtrot and quickstep, as well as Latin dances including salsa, rumba, jive and cha-cha. I have taken part in many dance courses, and still go along as a guest dancer when the dancing school needs extra numbers. I train regularly, twice a week, in a dance group and also compete very successfully in dance contests. At some point I decided I wanted to try something new, so I learned break dancing.
So you see: dancing lets you try out a lot of different things. That's also why dancing has enriched my life so much. And it just so happens that you do your body some good in the process – it's great for improving fitness and you learn how to control your body.
